An exciting, fresh talent from Jamaica, bursting with loads of enthusiasm and fiery rhymes, goes by the name of Dotta Coppa. Marlon Morsby, born in St. Mary in 1989 and raised in Kingston. Dotta Coppa’s musical career was influenced at an early stage by his eldest brother as well as stalwarts like King Yellowman, Sizzla and Bounty Killer. Dotta Coppa was discovered at Big Yard by the infamous Vybz Kartel in 2008. His music quickly went viral on the internet and the dancehall-scene worldwide. Working with producers and artists across the globe. In 2017 Dotta Coppa recorded the hit single and dancehall anthem “We Love Dancehall” with the german based producers Dancehall Station and went on to complete a promo tour in Europe and the USA, where he performed at shows in Cologne, Hamburg, Essen, Dortmund, Krefeld, Mönchengladbach in Germany, Amsterdam, Maastricht in the Netherlands, Antwerp and Kortrijk in Belgium. The US leg of the promo tour included Florida, New York and Maryland. 2019 is the next step of Dotta Coppa’s musical journey.

Currently based in Mülheim an der Ruhr in the center of the „Ruhrgebiet“ the largest urban area of Germany, he was been releasing numerous projects including his debut album named after his Hit Single „We Love Dancehall“. In the last years Dotta Coppa has been building a fan base in Germany and was published in Newspaper articles which led to interviews for german TV-Stations where his music was also featured.
